About TurtleFeet Photography

With all the modern tricks of digital photography, some advocates claim that photography is easy. No more endless struggles with choosing the correct film for the proper exposure. No more countless hours in the dark room developing film. Similar to Computer Technology, Photography has transformed into the “auto mode” age where camera actually thinks for you.

Ernst Hass, a revolutionary photographer from the 60s, stated, “The camera doesn't make a bit of difference. All of them can record what you are seeing. But you have to see.”

The more time I spend behind the camera, the more I realize that photography is all about vision. It’s true. In era of modern technology, many camera manufactures have engineered the camera around the philosophy:

One click – DONE! But, there is more into photography than just pressing the button.

Photography is about seeing… The talent is to observe, notice, and catch the moment.

There is not much difference between the Artist and the Photographer. Both portray their vision in different forms. Like an Artist, the Photographer must know the rules and sometimes disregard them to show an amazing result.

Sure, it’s easy to snap a picture. But, Photographer takes it one step further by using a priceless gift, the gift of creativity and artistry to catch the moment!
